Run up to ASICON 2025 - September, 2025

On 1st September 2025, the ASICON 2025 organizing committee in collaboration with District Health and Family Welfare Samiti of North 24 Parganas, conducted a program to train about 400 people in BLS, first aid and preliminary methods to handle accident victims. They included about 260 Patho Bandhus (trained volunteers working in dhabas and restaurants every 15 km on the highways) along with police personnel and supporting staff of the CMOH office. This was done with the intent that if an accident occurs, the first medical assistance can be given to the victims through locals, till medical help arrives.
